For complete listing information please select the click to bid button to see this item on ebay. Up for auction is my 2000 gmc sierra 1500 sl extended cab truck. My father purchased this truck as a leftover and i purchased it from him with approximately 35k miles. The truck started it's life at a scoville-meno family dealership in sayre, pa where my father purchased it. My father was a mechanic and body man by trade, but had retired by the time he picked up this truck. This was his replacement for a 1979 c10 with a sm 465... He finally got tired or rowing through the gears. Once he picked up the truck he had one of his old friends apply hugger orange rally stripes to the hood, cab, and tailgate with a fresh coat of clear. This was his way of personalizing the truck and a nod to the good old days when he ran around in 60's muscle cars. The bed was treated to a rhino liner and he had me install a viper alarm/remote start system so he could keep it nice and toasty in the winters and cool in the summers. The remote starter works awesome and comes with two fobs. Initially we installed a flowmaster cat back system, but i recently replaced that system with a stainless dynomax ultra flow cat back system. The stock steel rims and hercules tires were replaced with american racing baja rims. I recently replaced the tires with cooper discoverers. The tires have around 3k miles since installation. The stock rims have been i storage since new and will be included along with the stock lugs and center caps. The current lugs are a bit rusted, but look fine. The interior is what he called camel colored cloth and there is a third door on the passenger side that opens once the passenger door is opened. He had me install a tool box liner beneath the seat that encloses the otherwise exposed seat brackets. It's filled with the jack, lug wrench, and emergency equipment. Initially the truck had a go rhino front bumper guard, side steps, and tail light guards, but i replaced the steps and bumper guard with a set of stainless smittybilt tube steps and a smittybilt bull bar up front that contains a set of hella driving lights. The stock gmc grille was removed and replaced with a billet unit... That nearly cost me a finger during install! For some reason he wanted to remove the gmc badging to make the truck look more "trick" in his words. The truck originally came with an am/fm cd player, but i upgraded the system to a sony head unit with pandora, bluetooth connectivity, a usb charger, and hands free for phone calls. Initially the truck was wired with a cb radio and still has the wiring beneath the dash, but with the advent of cellular phones... There wasn't a real need for a citizens band radio to talk to people in guam while i was driving. A receiver hitch was factory installed and two sets of trailer wiring were installed to accommodate multiple harness setups. The oil and filter have been religiously maintained with k&n filters.
